Honor
Honor — styled HONOR by the company — is a Shenzhen phone maker that split from Huawei's consumer brand and now sells Android phones with Google services in the markets where it has a storefront. Magic is the flagship line. Numbered X and 200-class phones sit below it. Robot Phone is a one-off category: a motorized gimbal camera on a conventional slab, not a foldable and not a Magic-series rename.
On a spec sheet Honor competes the way many Chinese Android brands do: high peak brightness, fast charging, and a large silicon-carbon battery at a price that undercuts Samsung's Ultra in the same week. MagicOS is Honor's Android layer. It is busier than Pixel Android and closer to Huawei's older Emotion UI in the way it groups features. Update years are shorter than Google's seven-year Pixel promise and usually shorter than Samsung's upper S-series.
Regional SKUs matter more here than the marketing name. A Honor phone sold in China may ship without Google Play. A global unit usually includes it. Band lists, satellite features, and camera processing differ. If you import a China-only model such as the first Robot Phone, you are buying a China warranty and a China band set.
Honor is not Huawei. The companies share history and some suppliers; they do not share app stores or software-update policies today. Treating a Honor sheet as a Huawei sheet will send you to the wrong store and the wrong repair counter.
Charging figures on Honor flagships are often 100 W or more. That number is the supported peak with a matching brick. Carton contents in China and in a later global SKU can differ. We print the wattage Honor announced and leave wireless blank if the launch note omitted it.
Coming-soon Honor pages on this site name only the countries Honor itself named. A China open-sale date is not a US or India date. If a later global SKU appears, it gets its own market rows rather than a guessed worldwide label.
