Sharp
Sharp is a Japanese electronics company. AQUOS is its phone brand, sold mainly in Japan and Taiwan rather than as a worldwide Android line. wish is the durable, simple series: a large readable screen, a headphone jack, FeliCa mobile payments in Japan, and a body built to be dropped more than photographed. R and sense sit above wish when Sharp wants a thinner or more camera-led model.
An AQUOS spec sheet reads differently from a Pixel or a Galaxy. RAM is often 4 GB on a wish. The display may be LCD rather than AMOLED. Those are not mistakes in our table — they are the product. Sharp sells to people who want a 3.5 mm jack, a microSD slot, and a phone that works with Japanese carrier features, not to people shopping a 200 MP camera chart.
Software support is modest by current flagship standards: Sharp typically publishes two major Android upgrades and a few years of security patches on a wish. That is enough for a secondary phone or a first smartphone; it is not a five-year object. Carrier models (SoftBank, docomo, and so on) can lag the SIM-free unit on updates.
Availability is regional. If a sheet says Japan and Taiwan, do not assume a US or India SKU exists. Importing an AQUOS wish for the jack and the IP rating means you also import the Japanese band set and, often, FeliCa hardware you cannot use elsewhere.
Carrier variants matter in Japan. A SoftBank corporate unit, a docomo model, and a SIM-free wish can share a marketing name and still differ on which apps are preinstalled and when the Android update arrives. We list the Japan specification Sharp published and note the carrier when a carrier has named the phone.
AQUOS is the phone brand; Sharp is the company. People search both. Our URL is /sharp/ and the phone name keeps AQUOS so the two stay connected.
AllMobileSpecs lists Sharp / AQUOS under /sharp/. We are not affiliated with Sharp and do not sell these phones. Prices stay blank until Sharp or a carrier publishes one. Coming-soon AQUOS pages use the month Sharp printed, not a Friday we invented, and they list only Japan and Taiwan until Sharp names another market. A headphone jack and a microSD slot on a 2026 sheet are intentional; they are not leftover fields we forgot to delete.
